Why train your dog? I think that is a question often pondered among dog owners. You wait it out and see if the unwanted behavior goes away on it's own. In many cases it does not. It may become worse or it may lead to other unwanted behaviors. My question to you is.. Why not train your dog? It doesn't have to cost you a fortune and in most cases it doesn't even come close. It can be tailored to what you are able to do. You will be surprised how much you can learn in just one private training session. There are so many options available.
Think about what it costs you to let problem behaviors continue. It could be as minor as a torn up sock, or as severe as a lawsuit because your dog bit someone or someone else's dog. Something that is so upsetting to me is all the lost dogs I see on a daily basis through social media. If you have a well trained dog and a good relationship with your dog, they don't run away! Of course all dogs are different and it differs as to how much effort it takes to get them to the point that you don't have to worry but isn't it worth it in the end? All of these problems are preventable! With just a little guidance and a better relationship with your dog, you can achieve a better life for both of you.
At Revolution Dog Training you aren't just getting training. You are getting an approach that examines the whole situation and the whole dog. With a background in the Veterinary field and working with Holistic Veterinarians has opened a whole new world of what is going on with our canine companions. Occasionally it is not purely behavioral and I have the experience to point that out. When that is the case I refer the client to the appropriate place usually the Holistic Veterinarian to further assess the situation and work on the problem from a different angle. Now don't worry in most cases simple training will do, it is just important to know there are other options out there if they are ever needed. I also discuss proper nutrition for your dog so they can live a long and healthy life.
